Children's Motrin Oral Suspension

1. What is Children's Motrin Oral Suspension used for?

Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, sore throat, headache, and toothache. Also reduces fever.

2. Recommended Dosage

Dosage is based on child's weight and age. Typical dosage is 100 mg (5 mL) for children weighing 24-35 lbs (ages 2-3 years). Repeat every 6-8 hours as needed.

3. How to Take

Shake well before using. Use only the enclosed dosing cup to measure the correct volume. Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.

4. Side Effects

Stomach upset, mild nausea, diarrhea, or headache. Serious allergic reactions are rare.

5. Drug Interactions

Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs (aspirin, naproxen) or blood thinners (warfarin) without consulting a physician.

6. Storage Instructions

Store at room temperature 20-25°C (68-77°F). Protect from freezing and direct heat.

General Warnings

Stomach Bleeding Warning: This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. Do not use if child has ever had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen.
